AMERICA, F*** YEAH!!,
by C. Lynch, 2010-03-15
Well, more like Japan, F*** YEAH!! This TV is everything I thought it would be. I had been researching flat screen's for weeks, and I finally setteled on this because it was the biggest screen I could get for the money. The TV arrived 2 days after placing the order and it was extremely easy to set up. From the time I openend the box until the time I was laying in bed and watching was probably about 15 minutes. The picture quality from my Playstation 3 via a $10 HDMI cable (do not be suckered into paying for an expensive HDMI) looks beautiful. I just swapped out my old cable box for an HD box so I cant wait to see how that looks. My only complaint would be that I was having issues with the VGA cable I purchased to hook my PC up to it. The TV will not always recognize the PC linkup and I have to spend 20 minutes jiggling the cable around. I am guessing that the issue lies with the cable itself and not the TV. I will purchase a better quality cable and see how that works. Other than that, as I stated before, this TV is awesome. The people who say this is good for the spare bedroom must make alot more money than I do because I could not see myself putting this in a guest bedroom unless my guest was some sort of foreign dignitary.
Knocks My Socks Off,

I first bought a 32" Visio for $450. It had periodic flicker problems and I wasn't all that impressed with the picture or the quality or variety of the inputs anyway. I took it back to the store and got this one for $599.99. It works great with DirecTV and my year-old, low-end, Samsung, 1080P DVD player. The picture is fantastic. Even a standard picture looks good. I liked the color right out of the box and made no changes. To me, this TV says quality, the Visio didn't.
Great TV for the money,

This TV works great! It's primarily used as a computer monitor and it's awesome. If you want to run the full 1920 x 1080 resolution you need to buy a DVI to HDMI cable or have some other way of interfacing directly with the HDMI input. However, the VGA input still looks great. I was able to run the VGA at 1440 x 900. As others have mentioned in their reviews the sound isn't as spectacular as the picture, but it's okay for regular TV viewing. I would recommend using a separate sound system. As mentioned above this is a great television for the money, and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
Picture Perfect,

The purchase the Toshiba HDTV has been a total delight for my husband! This was an easy way to shop and the results were superb. Each attibute about the TV is awesome; i.e., sound, appearance and especially the picture quality--you couldn't ask for a better product. I was particularly elated because the price was in line with my budget, as well as the delivery ease and set up. Thank you for making my shopping experience a joy!
Totally Pleased!,

This is our second HDTV. I got spoiled watching HD in our bedroom, so the family room TV got changed out for an HDTV. Setup was amazingly easy. I think the sound quality is fine, but admittedly, I am not that fussy about sound. Recommend this TV highly. It is just what I wanted!
