I wanted to write a review because I always scan the reviews before I purchase a product. I am completely satisfied with this little set. The picture quality is fine despite the fact that I generally look at the set from an angle. It is quite compact, which is just what I wanted. I have also moved it from room to room easily. When I'm not moving it (which is most of the time), I keep it on a shelf. It is never in the way.
As one reviewer mentioned, due to the proportions of this screen, sometimes the image is smaller than the entire screen area. I've found this doesn't bother me at all. I don't even notice it.
There is also a lag after you turn it on. This is a bit annoying at times, but generally I tune into things a few minutes early, so it doesn't really matter. I don't find as much of a lag when switching channels. After the set is "on," the time between changing channels is pretty similar to what I experienced with my old set.
One last point: the setup must have been easy since I can't recall anything about it. I've had the set several months now and my recollection is that it "worked" immediately, so I must have just plugged it in.

I bought this TV to fit in my kitchen while I am cooking and cleaning up. I have only used it for movies on CD's. The sound tends to go up and down and even at the highest level sometimes its hard to hear. I havent had a chance to hook it up to my satellite to see what the real channels are. But for right now it suites my needs.

This item was the "deal of the day" last week and what a deal it was! The picture and sound quality is fantastic! We purchased this to replace a bulky standard tv in our kitchen and it is perfect for our space! Some of the reviews state that channel switching is slow. It is a bit slow but the quality of the picture makes it all worth while! You won't go wrong with this purchase!
Not what I expected!!!,

Received item and missing part of packing which included cord to plug in to see if TV worked. Left numerous emails with no response and ended up paying an additional $15.00 out of pocket for a new cord. Plugged TV in after receiving new cord and had a blank screen. Would not upload a DVD or go to the set up screen to view the television screen, very dissappionting. Finally was able to get a hold of a live person on Amazon and of course the item is not available at the original price that I had purchased. Ended up paying more for a USED but in excellent condition TV and will have to wait and see what the outcome will be when I receive the item. Taking a big chance, but not happy paying more when it should have been replaced at the same price.

The Picture is great on sd and hd content, dvd player works well! the sound is fine, I use this tv in front of my treadmill and am able to hear the movies over the ambient noise with or without using headphones no problem what so ever, again I am very close to the tv and it is on a shelf at head height. I was a bit concerned about the screen size at first but it works well in my application! I have not tried this feature yet but I feel I must make comment on it, one of the pros in my list of reasons to buy this was Amazons listing of it being able to play DIVX files off a burnt disc. Again I have not had a chance to try it out yet but from a little internet snooping have found other non professional reviews stating no luck with playing DIVX format files only music and picture files as stated in the product description!
