My purchase from Amazon and the bang for our buck is good except the sound. If you are in an area where it is quite, the volume is great. If there is a little noise in the area where you are watching this TV, do not worry about cranking up the volume, it is not going to help. Once you start turning up the volume, it starts to crackle. If you can hear it around the 40 mark, it is not that bad. Anything much above 50, forget it.
The quality of the the picture is phenomenal, great great picture... crystal clear. The DVD works and looks great as well.
Changing channels are slow, probably 1-2 seconds, this really did not bother me much, I have to keep in mind the price I had paid for it ($223.00) not to mention free shipping. It is basically going to be used for our fifth-wheel rainy day camping trips anyway, when the rain will put the fire out.
The remote is kinda cumbersome even with my large hands, it`ll take some getting used to.
If it was`nt for the volume break-up I would give this little thing 6 stars, unfortunately for the manufacture I am only giving it 4 stars. All & all it is a nice unit for the money.

Great buy for the money. We bought a used one and it came looking new. The only things missing were the screws that sercure the stand to the TV. I keep a jar of screws in the garage so it was an easy fix. It fits perfect in the kitchen. We love it.

I got this one for the kids play area. I really like that the DVD player is on the top, because my toddler used to try to put things in the old TV/DVD combo that had the player on the side. Also, the buttons are on the underside of the front panel which is harder for him to find! The TV has a good picture and has been working great for us so far. My only complaint is that our TV has one dead pixel on the side, but I honestly don't want to wait all of the time it would take to return it, get a credit and then buy a new one. I may look into the warranty from Toshiba, we'll see how much it bothers us.
