Bad viewing angle,
by Matt, 2010-09-02

This is an OKAY TV, I would not spend any more than $425ish on this TV.

The color and picture is okay. Much like most LG's it feels flimsy and cheap and has poor construction. Buttons on the side feel like they're loose, crunchy and barely connected to panel. The specs (contrast ratio for example) are so far from the truth it's not even funny. I have another HD LCD from Sony that I bought in 2006 and it blows the pants off this 2010 LG.

The worst part of this TV? Look at the colors from an angle. They're completely dull and washed out. This reminds me of the old school gigantic projector TVs that had virtually no viewing angle.

I'm not sure if I will keep it yet, probably since I wanted something in this size range that was cheap. I debated getting a Toshiba or Panasonic but the Toshiba's tend to get awful reviews from AV sites and the panny was on back-order.

best,

got mine a week ago. this is the best 32" i have ever seen looks as good as my 46" samsung which was top rated.every thing was easy accept the stand gave me a little problem. called to ask lg a question and got some help right off the bat.not sure i even needed 1080p but glad i got it. its hooked up to time warner cable box looks as good as any tv out there. well maybe not a led but they cost twice as much.

I'm nothing if I'm not practical,
by P. Doyle, 2010-08-05

In May 2010, I set out to buy a 32-37" LCD TV priced below $500. I would challenge you to find a higher quality, more feature rich set than this LG at this price point. Delivery was fast, and set up was a snap. I find that there is hardly a feature that I don't use on a daily basis. The "Sport" video setting is the best I have ever seen. Neighbors have copied the settings, trying to duplicate it's quality on their LCD's without success. The remote is superb in it's comfort and operation. I also use this set as my PC monitor. Text and graphics are great. If you are "practical" this is the set for you.

TV is great, customer service stinks,
by Joy Sizemore, 2010-07-24

I already own a large LG in the living room which came without any glitch but I did buy it at a local store. I got this smaller one for the bedroom and have no complaints so far about the actual TV. HOWEVER...I only received 4 bolts to assemble a stand that takes 8. I filled out the online warranty at LG website (website really needs some work) and then asked for more bolts. I've had to provide another proof of purchase to get the bolts (still waiting) when I already filled out their mile long warranty investigation. I highly suggest an independent warranty purchase. LG's customer service is not on the ball.

Good deal,
by Aaron J. Benek, 2010-07-19

For the price I paid, can't complain at all. The television is a great "bedroom" size. The picture quality is good, the sound is good, and the features are good. I also like the remote as it is very easy to use.
