Bought iogear video audio transmitter from Bestbuy. Couldn't get the sound to work. Talked to tech support. Downloaded drivers. Reinstalled. Took product back. Receiver was fifteen feet away and wouldn't work (audio).

Ok so I purchase this thing and start trying to install the software. I have Windows XP and I had to install/uninstall the software twice before it would do anything. I was able to get the USB transmitter to work, but when I tried to update the audio receiver it stoped working. No power seems to be getting to the unit even when I unplug and plug it in multiple times. The thing would light up before I did the software update, but not afterwards. Took the one unit back thinking it was defective and I exchanged it for another one. As soon as I did the audio receiver software update on the new unit the light goes out and the thing is also dead as a brick.
So I then called customer support, the person sounded like she was American, but the positive nature of the experience stopped there. I was told to use the latest driver off the internet, but that I would have to take the stone cold dead audio receiver back to the store and exchange it for another one. How many trips do I get to make to my electronics store?
First time I've ever heard of a software update killing something like this, but I suppose it can happen. So if you buy this thing watch out for the audio receiver going kaput and the software install is a pain in the rear. I would like to be able to talk about the audio quality and so on, but the dang thing doesn't seem to be letting me even get that far.

I bought this to make my computer wireless with my projector for my classroom. I teach math using a tablet pc and projector. Being able to go wireless is awesome because now I can move throughout the classroom with my tablet so students can write on the tablet at their desk. The students like using the tablet to show how to solve a problem and now have easy access to writing on the tablet since it is wireless. I just set the tablet down and a student can show all of us how he/she solved the problem. The wirless setup was easy and works great. I recommend this to anyone that wants to be able to eliminate the restriction that cables create.

IO gear has it hands down. After reading a number of reviews, most suggested
following the instructions. (hard for us over 60's type DUH!!!!)
