Great Cables,
by J. Monteleone, 2010-07-20
These are great high quality cables. They work perfectly. It is a wonder that Monster still has a business.
Utterly Useless for Office Use,
by D. A. Mawson, 2010-07-13
I won't waste anyone's time with discussing the relative merits of EMR resistance, cable stiffness, smell (what?) or cost (as if @ $14 is a travesty for anyone), etc. I'll cut right to the proverbial chase.
Stupid me; I actually ordered this based on a prior review suggesting that it would improve video quality over a standard DVI connection on my ViewSonic VX2433wm monitor. Silly me! I have a Sapphire HD4670 card and I simply cannot get the HDMI cable to display clearly in 1920 x 1080.
Not only is the screen incredibly blurry in 1920 x 1080, but underscan is persistent. This is sheer garbage. Perhaps someone out there can elucidate on how to get this to work. But, if I can't get quality screen display, this thing is going right back to Amazon.
Buyer beware; unless you're hooking this up to an HDMI large screen TV for family/living room use, I would advise against it. This is absolutely inferior to either DVI or VGA for office work.
not what I was hoping for,
by James J. Schraufnagel, 2010-07-07
I am willing to concede that my problem might be the cheep dvd player I am using this on, but the result I found was that the good quality rca cables that I had on gave a more clear and vibrant color picture. I really thought the HDMI was going to be the bomb, but after switching back and forth several times, I ended up putting the HDMI cable back in the box and leaving it the way it was. If anyone has a suggestion for me, I'm willing to hear it.
Great HDMI cable for the money!,
by Lynn C, 2010-06-30
This HDMI works so well, and at a fraction of the price of "Monster" brand cable. I bought this to connect my new LG BD 550 Blu-Ray player to my 46" HDTV. I'm very pleased with its performance at such a low price.
Cheap and great product,
by Chrissy, 2010-06-24
Comparing it to the HDMIs that are sold everywhere else, these are very cheap and deliver on their promise. Since I'm new to the whole HD revolution, this cable delivers an amazing picture. Definitely worth buying it.
